The Cherry Hill Urban Garden has been growing at an incredible speed! Through Baltimore City’s YouthWorks program, the Garden now hosts nearly 20 student workers from Southside Academy and Westport every day through the first week of August. Even with time off due to the heat wave, the students have already made a big difference at the garden.
Thanks to them, new beds have been built, other beds have been planted, and all garden paths have been weeded. We’re excited to see how much the students can accomplish in their summer at the Garden!
