Although most people have snow balls and swimming pools on their minds, we at the garden are already thinking ahead to fall. In the next few weeks, we’ll be planning and planting our fall crops, including curly kale, collard greens, and winter squash.
But don’t worry! Just because we’re planting for fall doesn’t mean the summer crops have finished producing. You can look forward to several more weeks of summer squash, eggplant, and cucumbers—and hopefully we’ll have tomatoes soon!
Is there a fall vegetable you’d like to eat from the garden? Would you like to help plant seeds? We want to hear from you! Send an email or stop by the neighborhood produce stand on Saturday between 3 pm and 6 pm to talk to the garden team.
